Okay there is a lot to think about when it comes to weddings, whether you are a guest or part of the party, you need to be on your game! What is your hair doing? Up, down, half up & half down, hair piece or hair extensions?? What are you wearing? Remember to book that pedi, check into your nail salon and don't forget the waterproof mascara!! Wait a minute... let's think about that. Who actually wants to wear clumpy waterproof mascara that is not going to do your lashes any favours! You know you will be shedding a tear whether you are close to the newly-weds or not, so you know that expensive mascara you were going to buy for £30 + those strip lashes for £10... why not spend that money on a lash lift or some extensions instead?

These are Classic Eyelash Extensions: An individual lightweight lash is applied to your natural lash and if this is done correctly it will be without any damage to your eyelashes. Your natural eyelashes go through an 8-12 week cycle where you will shed your lashes (losing between 2-5 a day) and grow more. Your lashes are always at different lengths as new ones come through, short and finer and adult ones, which remain for 2-3 weeks, are strong and longer. Extensions should last for 4-6 weeks but they will accentuate your natural lash, giving you the Hollywood effect (Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe Lashes?) without the hassle of sticking strips onto your eyelids that might slip off at any point!

Russian Lashes and Hybrid lashes are also other options. On average we have 60-180 natural lashes per eye, therefore you will be expected lie still for 1-2 hours for the application of Classics.
These are Hybrid lashes: a mix of Classic extensions (1 synthetic lash) and volumes (5-D pre-made fans, of 5 very light lashes, have been used here). Volume fans are used to, well....to create volume so that your lashes appear thicker. The fans are made up of a very lightweight lash structure of between 3 and 8 lashes which should equate to the same weight as a normal classic lash.

Eyelashes play an important role in protecting our eyes so lets look after them. Eyelashes are also the most likely thing for people to notice since we do tend to look at peoples eyes a lot! Historically, dating back to Roman times, women believed in accentuating their lashes and that is something we still believe in doing today. Extensions can be worn on a permanent basis if you keep up with your appointments by having infills or when you want a break you can have your extensions removed or simply go back to your mascara again and let them fall out naturally with your cycle. They will keep on growing if you look after them.
