Should I get a facial?

Updated: Jan 2

Having a facial should be a rewarding, relaxing and refreshing experience. Rejuvenate your skin with a deep tissue, muscle cleansing and lymphatic draining facial and you will feel like new. Using organic and vegan products tailored to your skin type LBK have mastered a lash-safe facial that is gentle on your skin and suitable for all skin types.

Why spend money on a facial?

Facials are the best way to look after your skin. Using the correct products and techniques for your skin type can mean that your skin will become brighter, tighter, clearer and smoother. Your muscles will relax to release any built up tension, altering your face shape and knots and nodes will be reduced, preventing the over use of muscles which then create unnecessary stress lines on your face. So why get a facial? Basically you will deep clean your skin, iron out your creases, drain your lymph nodes and brighten your skin. LBK doesn't use any harsh chemicals, blades, injections or light to alter your skins texture but just uses a totally holistic approach to skin therapy.

What to expect at your luxury signature facial appointment

Initially you will have a consultation to decide the best products for your skin, any relevant medications discussed and nutrition advice.

Warm blankets and towels will be layed out on the bed, heated blanket, aromatherapy diffuser / candles and a lovely warm room to relax and switch off.

A relaxing shoulder & neck massage followed by gentle massage / cryotherapy / exfoliation and deep facial massage & mask. Skin appropriate serum & moisturiser followed by SPF.

Products and techniques can be tweaked at each appointment as skin is constantly changing with the seasons.

What time of the month should you get facial?

2 weeks before/after your period (when you ovulate)

At this point in your cycle your progesterone levels rise, triggering the production of oil within your pores and making it more likely to trap bacteria and cause breakouts, so the facial will have much more benefit.
